Ludovic-Mohamed Zahed has dedicated his life to fighting against those who believe Islam and homosexuality are incompatible. It’s an uphill struggle and risky, as Naomi Conrad reports.

While historically, Zahed explained, Muslim societies were far more tolerant of homosexuality than the West, which considered it a crime committed by “deviants,” today the tables have seemingly turned.
