murderIndia: A 21-year-old gay college student was arrested April 11 in the southern state of Tamil Nadu for allegedly murdering two men who refused to have sex with him in two separate incidents.

The accused, S Periyasamy, is a third year student of a government arts and science college was arrested after Salem town police received information that the body of a theatre employee was found hacked to death inside the theatre premises, reports timesofindia.indiatimes.com

Police on arrival retrieved the body of a security guard there.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the accused had hacked guard to death after the night show. “We received information that the accused was seen wearing a bloody shirt (and) we traced him at the Salem old bus stand,” police sources said.

During interrogation, Periyasamy confessed he murdered the guard in the toilet when he refused to have sex with him. Periyasamy also revealed that he had murdered another man on March 30. The body of that victim was found in a decomposed state, police said.

Periyasamy had murdered this man by smashing his head with a big stone after the latter refused to respond to his advances. The accused then dumped the body in a hideout and returned home and resumed his routine activities, police added

A case of double homicide has been registered against Periyasamy and further investigations are underway.
